Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how payments, cancellations and refunds work. It is designed to be fair to both Buyers and Creators.

1. Escrow (how payments are protected)
When a Buyer pays for a booking, the money is held securely in escrow — it is NOT paid to the Creator immediately. It is released only when the work is completed and approved.

2. Delivery & Approval Window
After a Creator marks the work as delivered, the Buyer has [5] days to either approve it or raise a dispute. If the Buyer does not respond within this window, the booking is automatically approved and the payment is released to the Creator. This protects Creators from payments being blocked indefinitely.

3. Revisions
Creators offer up to the number of revisions stated in the booking/brief. Buyers should request revisions (within scope) before raising a dispute.

4. When you CAN get a refund
- The Creator did not deliver the work.
- The delivery clearly does not match the agreed brief/deliverables.
- The Creator misses the agreed deadline without agreement.
- The booking is cancelled by mutual agreement, or before the Creator begins work.
Refunds in these cases may be full or partial depending on the situation, decided via the dispute process.

5. When a refund is NOT automatic
- The work was delivered as per the agreed brief but the Buyer simply changed their mind or has subjective preferences not specified in the brief.
- The Buyer went off-platform or breached these terms.

6. Disputes
To dispute, raise it in the booking with a clear reason and evidence within the review window. The Creator can respond. Our team reviews the brief and the delivered work and decides fairly: release to the Creator, refund the Buyer, or a partial split.

7. Refund Timelines
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method via Razorpay, typically within [5–7] business days.
